In November 2022 the voters of Los Angeles overwhelmingly approved Measure LA to generate $5.3 Billion in bond funds to improve infrastructure and job training facilities across LACCD’s nine colleges. Join us in celebrating the new jobs and opportunities that will be created for local, small, minority, women, and LGBT firms by this bond measure and also welcome LACCD’s full Board of Trustees and its new Board President David Vela, who is a member of the LGBTQ Community!
Our event will recognize and honor the LACCD Board of Trustees including:

The event program will include a special presentation by Dr. Rueben C. Smith, LACCD’s Vice Chancellor and Chief Facilities Executive, highlighting LACCD’s current/upcoming Capital Projects.
